Final
I have taken hours and hours, and finally made 3 posters. When I made them, I always put halos around surgery tools.
Road to final.
I wanted to do more cutouts, but due to time constraint, I have decided to work digitally.
Before moving on, I gathered these materials for jobs. I have tried these and found out that they were not working all right. So instead I tried these.

Roughs
I have decided to do some cut outs before proceeding to final. I have chosen different poses of hands and tools, and aligned them on a single paper. I showed it to classmates and they told me that one with Michelangelo is worth to try.

Yesterday was so maddening.
I went to Long Beach art walk and attempted to sell t-shirt. What a bummer. I only sold one...

Objective for inventions.
I am planning to make an ad for surgical tools and these are 10 words that come out of my head.
1. wound
2. blood
3. trauma
4. stitch
5. doctor
6. hospital
7. emergency
8. nurse
9. healing
10. surgery
My objective is to create an ad that sells surgical tools in the market. My audiences will be medical school students and doctors. They are gonna be fascinated by those tools because they regulary use them to dissect bodies and stitch wounds.

Science museum visit
I went to California Science museum with Dave Thomas and took pictures of inventions of muslim civilizations. Here are photos
Exhibit was smaller than I expected, because the title was 1001 inventions. However, it was a fun experience to learn different cultures.

Scholarship essay
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to my apartment where all madness happen during the night.
In my neighborhood, people play loud music that sings in a language that I barely understand.
Gun sounds roar like thunder, and blue and red lights flicker; I constantly hear male voice
coming from a microphone. Cockroaches crawl and scavenge food inside my apartment. When I
spray Raid, these little brats know how to dodge and even sprint faster than Usain Bolt. At the
end, they turn their back, stick their tongues out, and sing “la Cucaracha.” Even worse, Ants
invade my room, climb over my arm, and tickle me so bad, I can’t sleep peacefully.
I am sick and tired of living in my current apartment and thinking about moving out.
However, I don’t know where to move out. I was searching every single classified ad in
newspapers, they didn’t have the ones that I really like. However, I searched through
Google.com and there came a fabulous website called Vacancy.com which made my life
easier than ever. The site gave me details about apartments including pictures, floor plans and
price info . After taking some hours looking at listings, I found an apartment called, “Esquire,”
which is located in metropolitan Mid Wilshir area .
This apartment has all specifications that made me satisfied. First of all, the price is so reasonable for a
studio apartment that has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and new floors. While other studio
apartments in my Torrance neighborhood ask for thousands of dollars for such a clean setting, it costs me
only nine hundred fifty dollars a month. Second, the complex has a rooftop skyview lounge that I can
overlook whole Los Angeles cityscape. Instead of driving all over Griffith Observatory to enjoy
the scenery, I can easily do it at home, using my own binocular. Third, the complex provides
high speed internet access. I am so frustrated with my current DSL because it takes hours to
download streaming videos and makes me fall into sleep while waiting. Also DSL provider asks
me to pay bloated price of twenty four dollars for just using slow internet. If the complex readily
offers the high speed internet for free, I will accept even without looking back. Thirdly, the
complex has a courtyard and accompany outdoor grill with it. My current apartment is attached
with a parking lot on the backyard, so it is such a hassle to set up a BBQ party, being squashed
by cars. And the fourth the complex has its own fitness center. It is so costly to buy all fitness
equipments and very hard to install them inside my apartment due to its pint size. As a result, I
become lazy as a couch potato and all I want to do is nothing other than eating, sleeping, and
watching soap operas. As an alternative, I can go to YMCA center and exercise all I can, but I
have to make a payment in every month just for using facility. And the fifth, the complex itself is
surrounded by shopping centers and restaurant. At least, I can enjoy nightlife all day without
worrying about going outside because of hoodlums wreaking havoc in the neighborhood.
Overall, Esquire apartment is definitely the one that fulfills my need and I am going to
plan when to move in the complex near future. Once settling at the apartment, I will say good
riddance to singing cockroaches, ant invaders, and cacophony of gun sound, and enjoy another
day in the paradise.

On a modular grid, I put motto Watch The Watts in front of Watts Tower. I have to put a description of history.
